From Pennsylvania, Joelle brought her East Coast sensibilities to Michigan with her family of 4 boys, love of theater and nature. 

Traverse City has afforded her opportunities to combine hospitality and love of theater to help deliver amazing experiences for audiences at Old Town Playhouse and the State/BijouTheaters, families at West Senior High, Traverse City Tourism and now the National Writers Series. She is passionate about the Front Street Writers Program as well as the Young Playwrights Festival. She seeks outlets for compassionate action whether in her neighborhood or in impoverished communities across the world.
