Clark Bunting spent 30 years working in media and television production. Over his 26-year career at Discovery Communications, he served as President and General Manager of Discovery Channel, founding President and General Manager of Animal Planet, and President of Discovery Studios.

At Discovery Networks, he launched critically acclaimed series, including Shark Week, Deadliest Catch, Mythbusters, and the Crocodile Hunter.  His programming portfolio received numerous Emmy Awards, Peabody and Dupont Awards, and an Oscar.  Clark also served as President and CEO of National Parks Conservation Association.

He is currently CEO of Soil Carbon Partners, Inc.  He has held also board and leadership positions with Ocean Conservancy, World Wildlife Fund, Smithsonian National Zoo, Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts and Michigan State University’s Communication Arts and Sciences Advisory Board.

Clark has received numerous awards and honors, including Michigan State’s Distinguished Alumni and Master of the Creative Universe Awards, Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival’s Lifetime Achievement Award CINE’s Leadership Award, Queensland’s Goodwill Ambassador Award, and Broadcast & Cable’s Fifth Estater designation. He received an MA in Communications and a BA in Advertising and also holds an honorary doctorate from Michigan State University.  He currently serves on the boards of Detroit Zoological Society and Bird Dog Media Ventures, Inc.
