Anne Stanton is an NWS cofounder and served as executive director of the National Writers Series, serving from 2015 to early 2021. She subsequently served on the NWS board. She is editorial director for Mission Point Press, a Traverse City-based firm that provides a full slate of editorial, marketing and design services to independent authors. . Anne previously worked as an investigative reporter for daily and weekly news organizations, writing award-winning stories of human drama and resilience. She also served as researcher/editor for two New York Times bestselling books. Anne received a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Arts degree in journalism, graduating from the University of Michigan.
