Anne Stanton worked as a journalist for daily and weekly news organizations, writing award-winning stories of human drama and resilience. She also assisted her husband, Doug Stanton, with the research and editing of his two New York Times bestselling books. That led her to a new direction in book editing and the cofounding of Mission Point Press with partners Doug Weaver and Heather Shaw. MPP is a Traverse City-based firm that provides a full slate of editorial, marketing, and design services to independent authors.
Anne received a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Arts degree in journalism, graduating from the University of Michigan. She grew up in Davison, Michigan, where she first freelanced for the “Davison Index.”
