Noelle Riley began her journalism career more than 20 years ago in Colorado, where she was a reporter and editor for various publications, including The Denver Post, the Denver Business Journal and the Craig Daily Press. As editor of the Craig Daily Press, she enjoyed teaching Newspapers in Education each year, where she helped grade school students understand the basics of newspaper writing and publishing. She’s currently the marketing director for the National Writers Series, the northern Michigan stringer for the New York Times and the editor of the Grand Traverse Scene Magazine produced by the Traverse City Record-Eagle. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
