They became full-time residents of the Old Mission Peninsula in about 2009.
Nancy became involved with the Old Mission Women’s Club, serving as its president for five years, volunteered for the Peninsula Community Library, and served in several offices of the Friends of Peninsula Community Library. She is a supporter of Northwest Michigan College, the International Affairs Forum, the National Writers Series, Peninsula Community Library, the Botanic Garden at Historic Barns Park, Grand Traverse Land Conservancy, and TC Philharmonic.
Nancy has been an enthusiastic reader from a very young age.
