Cathy Mason serves as Events Director at Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), a
global leadership community of more than 38,000 CEOs across 120+ countries. She
leads the strategy and execution of more than 200 global events annually, delivering
high-impact experiences that advance leadership development and peer engagement
worldwide. With deep expertise in event strategy, long-range planning, and experience
design, Cathy aligns complex global programs with organizational goals and member
needs.
Her career includes senior leadership roles directing international medical congresses,
C-suite leadership forums, and global semiconductor summits, overseeing events from
executive gatherings to conferences of 10,000+ attendees. Cathy is widely recognized
for her industry leadership, serving on global advisory boards and helping shape
pandemic-era event standards and accredited education. A former President of Meeting
Professionals International (MPI) and former PCMA Board member, she has received
numerous industry honors for her leadership and volunteer contributions. Cathy and her
husband Mike reside in Traverse City.
