They will host Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer. She is a mother, scientist, decorated professor, and enrolled member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. She is the author of the bestselling book Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge and the Teaching of Plants.

The National Writers Series will host five virtual author events for its summer 2021 lineup, the organization announced Tuesday.

The National Writers Series of Traverse City is now bringing the discussions to a podcast every week.
The podcast will feature a wide variety of guest authors and guest hosts, most of whom appeared live at the City Opera House in downtown Traverse City.

New leadership is coming for the Traverse City National Writers Series.
The non-profit was created in 2010 by bestselling author Doug Stanton and his wife Anne.
