WHEN THE VIRUS ENDS

One day
testing will be done
vaccine developed
hospital supplied
people will move again
and this virus will end.

One day
procedures will be analyzed
issues identified
conclusions deduced
all arguments argued
emotions emoted.

Chest thumping over..
Blame dumping over.

One day
all triumphs all disasters
will be gone
and either from being sick and tired
or waking up
we shall all
individually
or collectively
turn IN
towards the beginning
towards creation
square one

and we will discover
something there
something like a glimmer
something like a tiny flame
and we will recognize it
almost as if for the first time
and smile
and shrug our shoulders
with this realization –

that only
what was done lovingly
ever
really
mattered.
